Pay cut!

So can anyone tell me how the pay cuts work when you step down? Use to be 5-10% since they have raised pay in majority of the positions didn’t know if the pay cuts changed as well?

It's generally percentage based. So if you step down from team lead or higher it sort of acts as a job credit. You don't make as much as you were but you don't make as little as the current position pay. Now if you are a regular associate, say a Specialist making $16 but you "step down" to a cashier making $15 .. I am unsure yet if that will be a percentage drop or just drop to $15. You could end up making $15.25 or $15.50 but because the Specialist position is so new, I am unsure what it would be.

I was a team lead, stepped down and went to a job that paid eleven an hour. I went from 18 to 16.20. I have a lot less stress now.
