It’s new slogan should read Destroying America one family at a time! All the families that just got new homes and now bankrupt thanks to the greed of Union Pacific I wish CNN would comment on this sensitive mater and make it national news the stockholders would love it! Maybe more locations could be closed that way the stock price could rise $1 a share.

I’m living it currently, but if I seen it in cnn I wouldn’t believe it!
And it isn’t even a degree. It is a certificate that takes a few weeks and you just attend like a conference.
Not the typical "fake degree" - but any of the executives that tout the Harvard AMP 190 "degree"... it's $75k per person. UP is literally buying these people a piece of paper. It's common across many universities now that "certifications" paid for by the persons employer are a huge profit growth market. It's done at most big universities now.
Somebody mentioned the name of one of them known to have a diploma mill and it was deleted. But the name of the university is still listed as of now. You were obviously too lazy to Google it.
Hate to tell you this but diploma mills do exist. Several states have enacted laws that prohibit people from using degrees from unaccredited institutions. Just because someone has a degree doesn't in any way mean they have a legitimate degree. If you research diploma mills, then you will probably be surprised as to how many are actually out there. Corporations don't care what curriculum you went through to get the degree. They care only about that piece of paper saying what you majored in. I'm not trying to argue with anyone about this. Someone called you lying or lazy. You also said you care about facts, ok fine. What facts did you bring here when you posted? Nothing, you posted in reference to what you read on here. Again not trying to argue here, but having facts does help when debating an issue that is very much real.
Why, ok smart guy, tell us who has a fake diploma? You say I am lying but I don’t have any information on this other than the posts on this forum about it. Give us the details ( if you have them) otherwise don’t accuse someone of lying. By the way I am not a manager but I do believe in facts and not rumors.

If you don’t know about the regional VP’s who’ve had diploma mill degrees and you are a manager then you are either lying or lazy.
What is national news with this? It isn’t just UP doing it as all the class 1’s have adopted a form of PSR and have laid off a significant amount of employees. Corporations have been doing this downsizing trend for the past 40 years. The problem is corporate greed and wealth inequity in the U.S. When the top 1 percent of earners make more than 90 percent of the country there is a tremendous problem. That is an issue that all middle class workers should be worried about as the middle class is almost gone. Pretty soon there will be only a small percentage of very wealthy individuals and the rest will be low middle class to poor.
Not sure the obsession on this forum with “fake degrees”. If you have proof of this why don’t you share it with the rest of us.
What about all the homeless Vice Presidents with fake degrees that were fired?
