Assume your job will be gone with the acquisition, and if not then, with AWS Connect. Do this over the weekend–Dust off your resume, update it and your LinkedIn profile, and reach out quietly to your network. You need to conduct a stealth job search as you're still employed. Tell no one at work. Do not wait till after the closing. It will take you a while to build up momentum. If you find something good, take it. Get moving!

Centene is implementing AWS Connect which is a call center solution meant to eliminate 80% of calls to contact centers. This will eliminate 80% of call center agent jobs. If you are in top 20%, you may still have a job near beginning of 2022 once AWS Connect job elimination solution is in place. If not, there are many needs for Call Center Agent jobs elsewhere. Keep your head up as 4,000 plus positions are cut by CEO MFN and CIO Mark Brooks who would be decision maker on AWS Connect.

This is a company run by EVIL people. They don’t care about the employees. It doesn’t matter how hard you work or how good you are at the job. When they RIF Professional Nurses, that never call in sick, are team players, have great yearly reviews, get 100 % on audits consistently, are praised by the Doctors they interact with daily, are flexible, volunteer to work weekends and holidays and know what they are doing, get along with everyone....well....what’s left to say....NO ONE IS SAFE.... and unfortunately they enjoy that power trip....just do your personal best, keep your resume updated... just understand that these people are evil and will answer for it one day, to a MUCH higher power......

They do this tactic to stress everyone out since it is a old management trick using fear to get everyone to work hard.

Fear is a great tool. It is a power tool. It is a tool to abuse. It is a tool to control.

Welcome to world of management evil. Now leave and find a world of management good.

If you already know your job and you aren’t in need of training, you should be fine. They are terrible at providing training, but will still hold you accountable. Every year your job will be up for elimination. I’ve never worked anywhere in my life that I was always fearful of being let go everyday. My time finally came last month. It was a relief honestly. I was stressed everyday.
