Randy nearly destroyed AT&T during his tenure here with bad decisions and he gets rewarded for it with a place on Walmart's board. Over and over again he proved to be an incompetent leader and yet he gets rewarded for it. There really are two sets of rules - one for us and one for those on top...

No. What is sickening is defending those who destroyed a once great company.
AT&T needs to gut mgmt and get some thinkers in charge rather than "my turn" leaders. >30 Billion loss on DirecTV - pathetic. Everyone forget the TMO screw up - AT&T gave them half of their AWS spectrum and a ton of money in the failed buy out...now they're #1 and AT&T is #3 - biggest screw up in history and who got fired? Just pee-on employees every 6 months due to the mis-management.

RS is nothing but a glorified accountant. He does not have an engineering or finance background. The guy did not even perform a good ROI calculation on Directv and TW acquisition. The ROI calculations shows that T grossly overpaid for these acquisitions.
The biggest problem in T is that it values people who can talk about big ideas rather than people with a skill set who can actually perform.
Who cares? Hopefully that will allow less time for him to leave more of his stink here.
