So apparently now if we can’t make our carepass target for the week the dl is making us work on the weekends. Doesn’t sound ethical to me. Should I report this to HR? Do you think it would even do anything?

Been down this road before. Called the ethics line and they said there is no policy but you work whatever you and your DL agree to. I didn’t agree to that so I stopped working what I was told I had to work. I work my two nights and four weekend shifts and move on. I’d call. It won’t do any good but I’d still call
Do your job and have your team offer CarePass. Max your target could be is 3 per day which is not at all challenging if they are even remotely asking some of their customers. I’m sure you will complain that your hours are getting cut when you aren’t making sales since you don’t want to take the steps to drive your basket size

@1jsl+19REkhd9 Working every other weekend yes. But not working every last weekend, 52 weeks out of the year. I am completely aware that retail does require weekends. Just not every last one. It would be nice to have an occasional weekend off without having to request it. But since this is CVS we’re talking about, not happening...
Forced to work weekends??? Isn’t that part of the job to work weekends ?? Your in retail !!
Management is playing employees against each other. That's bad and a reflection of poor management. It's creating a hostile working environment. Hang in there and get out if at all possible.
Increased payroll? When we work it in place of another employee. Doesn’t even make sense!
The increased payroll costs will blow his store budget.
