Has anyone heard from the wigs at the quarterly meeting regarding any possible layoffs? Union head told us last year this time that the business rep is always at these meetings for proposals. Please don’t bash the question, just wondering if there’s anything out there. Thanks.

Could one follow the work to India if one is laid off? I wonder how much the move package would be?
The quarterly surplus announcements for occupational has been around for as long as I can remember. Mid March - June- Sept. and of course the special one right before Christmas
Next announcement for core AT&T occupational is Jun 15th. They are quarterly announcements, not monthly. According to the notice, Sept 15th after that, and then Dec 15th.
So, I guess for the next 3 months, nonsense posts by disgruntled AT&T washouts.
Come on folks....anyone that believes the monthly downsizing is over or even paused is not facing reality. There will be force adjustments every month for the next 5 years or until each business unit is sold or completely abandoned....a sad but sobering truth to those with any hope at all. ATT as you see it today is simple unsustainable....
Looks like there will be no major surplus announcements this quarter
My understanding is the 4 in Hville is a shift because a work center is closing down/been sold
What benefits are left to cut in 2023?

Out of the 5 layoffs in the SE, 4 have "follow the work" offers.
Yep four techs in Huntsville, 1 clerk in Bham
Just released for D3
What a blood bath — Grand total = 5 (YES FIVE)
Nope, but for the last several years in the SW there have been layoffs every quarter with this week being the timeline, along with mid June, Sept, and Dec. Who knows which job titles or the numbers, but I guarantee someone's weekend is gonna s—.
I have attended 3 of the 4 town halls (4th is this week) in my food chain and there has been no mention of a Layoff. So, don't expect one this year due to the benefit cuts. Just too many people leaving at the end of the year. Perhaps a better question, is what benefits are they going to cut next year?
