Anyone know what the 2020 bonus is looking like based on their severance package? My understanding is that those let go received the bonus in their package.

Well fcuk Me! Another $15k for Vac payout on top of my severance makes me feel a bit better. It should cover some of the taxes :-)
Well I asked them about this and vacation pay is not included in the package. Basically thera two amounts in package first or smaller one is for not being given proper notice in accordance with AB Labor laws (written notice for layoff based on years in company). In January last paycheck was issued as it is and any remaining amount (vacation etc.) will be issued around 10 th February along with first package amount and they will deduct anything if you owe them anything (equipment or extra vac. days).
Second amount in package is combined severance and bonus together.
The assumption is that you get 100% of your target bonus based on your job level
The company is trying to spend a fraction of the capital they're commited to, looking to get rid of 25% of the workforce and praying they survive long enough to see the next year... bonus?
HR told us that the bonus was included in our package total. Unfortunately there was no break-down, so they looked better than they were. i.e. you Vac payout is in there as well
