So what’s the word on the layoff that was mentioned by Slattery last quarter? We were told by management last week that no layoff would be happening.... and we all know what happens when management says something won’t happen.

Wilmington couldn't even produce bike parts right now with the engineers and quality people they hire that has 0 clue how critical these parts are. Pack em and send it out as long as the numbers come off the boards.
Constant until D&I quotas reached.
Lynn should be cut down to approx 90 union employees (assembly and test will remain) by end of 2022. At about 1250 union members now. Work will be moving to cheaper plants. I heard Wilmington is gonna go up to about 20% military, maybe they should just load them up with Lynn's work
Wilmington
Any information or guesses on what plants will have their headcount reduced?
The government should give the 15billiom to the workers as they walk out the door Why should some crack pot CEO or greedy board members get it? The gov thinks that the 15billion would trickle down to the hired help. I doubt it will at all. Think about it 14000 jobs=15 billion?? Alrighty then! They must make a lot of money per hour
United Airlines has warned of a potential layoff of 14,000 workers and are requesting $15 billion in government assistance to keep workers on the payroll through at least Sept. 30.

Watch the video of the Annual Meeting. Was included in an email today. Slattery said permanent workforce reduction will happen. Not all teams will be affected. Affected teams will find out by the end of February. So here we go again
It could be soon. The airlines don't expect any rebound in air travel until after the summer. American Airlines has burned through the latest bailout In just one month. 13,000 could be laid off soon at AA. No tickets, no money for aircraft, no engines, no spares.
