I feel like we got our meeting invites for bonuses in January last year. Any idea when they’ll be released, specifically WM? Asking for a friend who wants to schedule their 2 week notice right lol

For the one who said we shouldn’t expect anything due to Covid, you do realize the bank made a sh*t load of money off Covid. I really should said all large corporations made a load off of Covid. The bank gets paid off PPP, Covid sick time, etc. just wait and see the bonuses/salary increases our “leaders” receive this year. While giving the front line bank employees who risked their mental and physical health all year long, not to mention their families, and got a measly “Covid pay” for maybe 2 months when Covid wasn’t even at its worst! And a B.S. thank you while the higher ups talked about how great it was to work from home in 2020.
You can’t be that oblivious to what is actually going on. Do your research people, it’s all out there.
I guess the days of "pay for performance" are gone. Oh yeah that was Richard Davis not AC 'the liar'.
Bonuses will be finalized by Feb. 12, so expect to hear the tiny amount the following week. All bonuses and any miniscule merit (1-1.5%) on March 5 paycheck.
Bonus pool was putrid this year and universally funded at 50% across the board. Performance didn’t matter. Company used covid as an excuse to go cheap and top performers will be hurt most.
If you’re banking on a bonus to make ends meet, you’re doing it wrong. Nothing should be expected, and you should be grateful if your hard work is recognized. These people that get pissy when raises and bonuses aren’t what they used to be, HELLO???? You do realize what kind of year 2020 was right? You’re free to go somewhere else and you’ll see it’s the same. Be grateful you’re employed, work hard, become engaged in your job. You get out of it what you put in.
They have to make sure there is enough to co we Andy and his buddies multi million dollar bonuses first to see what is left for the lesser masses. Stay tune for the March report when you can find out if Andy received another 40% increase in his total compensation package and compare that to yours hmmmmm
US Bank employee: you have a much better chance to be happy if you stop begging for your bonus being windled at your face. Do you enjoy depending on it to make ends meet? Too much sacrifice for a few $$ and having to pray for it not to be cancelled, despite $billions$ made every quarter and despite AC making $20MM a year. US bank is ripping your brains apart. Stand up and find yourself a better career. Don't wait until they get acquired by Goldman S and your position ends up slashed. US bank is destined to tumble down. You have been warned.
We heard that bonuses and raises were finalized but were with senior management to formally approve, and that we’d be told by our the amounts in mid-February once approved.
I was told that they will be coming out in February, our raises, that is. Even though I was also told they we would know by the end of January. And now all of a sudden HR tells us what they are? Do our managers not have a day anymore? Multiple (former) coworkers said that they were told not to expect bonuses this year. This place is insane.
