very average to low pay, very minimal to no raises, a bonus that's a slap to your face, very "standard" medical and retirement, no WFH unless there's a global pandemic, hostile work environments across the bank, not even a gym membership discount. i think this is the year i start actively looking for another opportunity. i think the best benefit we get might be theb23% off our verizon bill.

Look at all the free labor they get from all the people supporting disaster recovery exercises (that seemingly occur continuously).
They are not lackluster- they outright s-ck.
Maybe there’s a discount on Verizon but they are the only firm I know that will not pay for cell phones. They expect you to be available 24/7 and you pay.
Banks are cheap and BNYM is the cheapest.
Unless you are just starting it cruising into retirement I don’t know why anyone works at this dump.
