Cisco can buy AWS, and boom we will back in the game big time. But Chuck and all the clueless ELT have to exit.
While Five9 is a small company they are k–ling the market compared to the flawed Cisco CC cloud. Broadsoft was a piss poor purchase like a dog with fleas. To catch up to Five9, UJet, InContact, TALKDESK, Twilio, and Amazon.... Cisco needs a miracle! Rowan did a nice job to upset the collaboration apple cart, with JC leaving and Chuck (duck and cover), Cisco missed the cloud windo 5* years ago.

Companies like Five9 and Incontact were doing cloud contact center over 7 years ago. Cisco is only now getting their s..t together to offer a cloud CC product. Up to now been selling a bunch of legacy Windows on-prem tools for contact center. Totally missed opportunity. Now the market is flooded with companies doing cheap cloud phone and cloud contact center. Window to make good margin is gone.
do we have cloud engineers in cisco? maybe they meant to say "clown engineers".
Check linkedin. No loss. Worked on many failed Cisco initiatives including Cisco signage and the infamously terrible Cisco Spark.
Departure is a net gain for Cisco.
Five9 is a tiny company where laid off Cisco employees obtain jobs. It's an echo chamber of incompetence. Mostly former Cisco lead the company.
