Yeah I've called our electrician hundreds of time to repair damaged electric boxs and he never shows or he says he is to busy then I drive by his shop just to see his truck just sitting there . I just repair them myself now . The other electrician that got his job cut used to drop what he was doing stay late and get the job done .

Well I feel as a being in the signal dept I can say first hand that these electricians HAVE a choice to call a contractor the one we have does it all the time and just hangs out in truck watching a contractor change out a little panel feeding a CP . He could of just easily did it himself or did a job else where well the contractor did the work instead of just setting around watching a contractor do his work . This type of behavior is the reason why most of the electricians got cut in the first place

Y’all act like the electricians are the ones making the decision to call in contractors to come out and do work instead of doing it themselves. A ground-level employee isn’t making those kinds of decisions. I get that there are plenty of things about this operation that are worthy of criticism but some of the folks on this board are just seeking any reason to bi**h whether or not they know what they’re talking about.

Can UP HR even call anybody back to work? Most cell phone carriers block spam calls now. They probably wouldn’t get through.

Why would you come back? To get laid off again in 3 months?

Same story here we had a electrician that worked between Taylor and Brownsville and would replace meter poles that were hit by cars he would come out all hours of the night and get things working by himself no help from any other electricians. The electrician that took his place won't even answer his phone and if he does he just calls a contractor and he will just set in his truck and watch the contractor work .

They got rid of the ONE good one we had that did a hell of a job and actually came out and did his job, I called for the ONE electrician that's left for a meter pole breaker box upgrade 4 months ago, and no sign of them and not even a contractor. Highly doubt the good one will come back if called back, would any of yall??????
