If we could get everyone to stop paying union dues and just send them to Colombo crime family we would be much better represented.

Class action law suit. There’s plenty of conflicts of interest that go on. They keep everyone so spread out and disconnected that it would take a lot of effort and digging to gather all the information needed. But fact is, they’ve taken your money and lived off your back just like the railroad and in the end eff’d you over just as bad.

It would have to be a civil suit. I can see that coming soon.

In 2000 Brc told everyone in Roanoke that we should sign our rights away that there was nothing to come back for. Then as soon as time was up the company brought in low wage car manufacturer and BRC was right there to represent them. Terrible excuse for a union. They should be sued but nonone got anywhere back then so I doubt you will now. Good luck though. Freight car America is company who took our jobs back then.

You could sue for failure to represent. But nailing a Company Union official is harder than catching an eel in a barrel full of grease on a dark night.

Ive wondered about that myself. I dont see how the BRC can represent both ttx and ns carmen.Sounds like a conflict of interest to me but Im no lawyer.I know when ttx took over our jobs the union rep. told us what a great deal we were getting.A 10 dollar hour pay cut didnt seem like a good deal to me but afer all there in the company's pocket.
