I left company. Anyone would go back if offered a grade 13 position? Cisco has very good qualities. Sad reality is that I am not sure company will exist in 10 years from now.

If that's what made you happy, then go for it. Enjoy your "second childhood".
They will buy my company and be around for more than 20 years.
But will Cisco get better/worse, in ten years? Will there be risky business and risk? Yes. And layoffs every quarter? Yes, of course.
More importantly, will you be happy with yourself in 10 years?

Don't come back. You won't last long. As a grade 13, you'll be expected to create slide decks and be able to communicate effectively in written communications.
Don't you mean "I left the company. Would anyone go back if offered a grade 13 position? ... The sad reality is that I am not sure the company will exist ten years from now."
I'm sorry to be the grammar police, but that's what grade 13 is all about. Effective writing and communication.
Grade 13. Right.....
OP, did you mean "Cisco HAD very good qualities"? Please do yourself a favor. Don't come back...
No, just simply no.
Doubtful that a 'real' grade 13 would be seeking advice here....
Depends on the compensation package. If the money is good enough to justify the politics and backstabbing... go for it
but have another job lined up in two or three years. Cisco is no longer a long-term career.
3 words "OH HELL NO!!!!!"
Personally I would not.
I was restructured after 17 years. The biggest realization after leaving was looking back once out and realizing how much I let the money rule my life and relationships.
Now three years out I make half as much and work much less. The best part has been evolving into the mindset of doing the work, not overcommitting, but most of all turning off worrying about work politics.
To me nothing beats the independence of a simpler life not primarily driven by money and having to commit to a massive daily time commitment.
How do you know you'll still be around in 10 years?
Why not take it and bail in say 5 years before it’s totally dead?
Yes! That’s a great opportunity. You know how stressful it is, so get prepared.
The company will exist in 10 years. It may go through hell, but chances are once they start losing money, they’ll have to get serious. Will you survive there 10 years? That’s a hard thing to do, but maybe a couple grade 13 bonuses can make the time go faster.
