Something is not right! 6 years and only offered 8 weeks severance? But others are commenting they got more.

Regarding the outplacement benefit. I spoke with a job coach who had some good tips for my LinkedIn page and ways to increase visibility however, the person I was assigned to came across as condescending. I’ll stick to my LinkedIn subscription - I’ve had more recruiters reach out to me there vs. anything the job coach has “helped” with (which I could have Googled ‘how to improve my LinkedIn profile). Hopefully others had a better experience but I wasn’t impressed after two months.

One week per year, maxes out at 6 months.

I was let go December 31 as part of the entire corporate marketing department. It is about 2 weeks for every year, but I got 14 weeks for 5 years. I heard from others let go that max out is 24 weeks. Vacation is NOT paid out and bonus is supposed to come in March at the normally scheduled time. I HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of the outplacement benefit if offered - it's actually very good.

Sounds like 2 weeks per year of service with a max out of 12-14 weeks. Not sure about the other pieces.

In the past it was 1 month for every full year of service and possibly one last bonus payout. They’ll also pay out any exiting vacation time.

My advice is to take it abs go get a job somewhere else. Apply for unemployment. Collect on both. Don’t tell them if you get a new job.
