  • Your manger + HR Rep (in my case an HR mgr) will be present
  • A script will be verbaly delivered - all that you need to know will be there, the rest will be mailed to you
  • You cannot change anything, you cannot plead your case, they cannot change things, this decision is final

State your case? These people don’t care. Sadly, the names have likely been on lists since the merger started...and phase by phase, the layoffs happen. In my instance, my manager’s manager was on video along with an HR person who sat and looked doe eyed, as if she cared. He didn’t. She didn’t. It’s basically, “this is never easy news to deliver...” and then they tell you your last day, severance details (if any). I once felt valued by WellCare and that day, that b_st_rd made me feel like a number.
