I’m surprised there haven’t been layoffs throughout this team. Too many people and not enough work is never a good sign!

Look at management and which country those leaders are from. The Caste System is in play at Optum. The company leadership is moving to India. Why? Because earnings can be met by reducing the cost of American resources

If UHG is earning 150-200 billion off its members by nickel dimeing their members who neededs medical, are you hopeful they care about thier employees?

There will always be reductions in force (AKA: lay offs) in the us empire. how else would these vile us corporations keep making their profits off of the sick and infirm. Sleep well.

I don’t know anything solid but I would be shocked if we hit mid year without RIFs in Clinical Performance. Guessing sooner.

Just wait until mid 2021, when all those corporations are filing bankruptcy protections. they borrowed here and there and got some gimmick US help ("loans") etc...but eventually the bill comes due and it's time to pay the butcher. Would be on the look out for other options.

Do not know about Optum in that area but Centene Corp just fried about 3000 people or 6 percent of their workface in a massive layoffs. This is occurring for other health plans as well. Most of it probably to offset high covid costs. That blog is heavily hit with new posts.

Be prepared. Do not get blindsided.
