Layoff
So let's talk about when a store has a relocation. Florida regional, im talking about you. You have an amazing stl thats been there building relationships for over 2 yrs getting ready for the new store. This person is an all star many times over and has many allocates. They have to reapply for their job. Its an easy answer. Nope not in Florida ..its all about favorites. Every single team member that was on the panel voted for this stl. We are just puppets. It's a show to act like they care what we think. Then they use the Friday method. Let's give them the bad news on Friday so we don't have to take their calls or questions as to why this candidate was not chosen. Now all our team leaders have to apply to their jobs again. Here goes the favorite system again. Florida regional leadership, shame on you. We see you. Very very disappointing to say the least.

If regional or corporate didnt pat itself on the back nobody else would. They had been doing so poorly before the amazon acquisition that the company was forced to sell because it was stagnant and left incompetent people in positions. The only thing keeping WFM from burning out is Amazon delivery because WFM corporate couldn't hold things together. The regional and corporate offices are so top heavey its is ridiculous while it is store level that actually makes the money. But corporate\regional makes id–tic decisions and the stores suffer because of them.
i like the circle jerk self congradulating regional crew when they decide to open a new mega store in an area potentially over saturated and the sales projections bottom out...i.e. the 17th street dud in fort lauderdale....projected to be a diamond store right outta the gate by an overly caffeinated regional office and the helm handed over to lil hitl##.....the recipe for success in this region...also cannabilising sales from the existing fort lauderdale store...
Yeah thats the entire company not unique to Florida.
Floriduh...that regional office is really high on the nepotism and favoritism..and their lack of knowledge of how each stire has different clientele and store processes...and too many "yes men" in the store leadership positions..they dony want a dialogue of ideas...just get the numbers...
