Don't get lulled into complacency. More layoffs are a guarantee. Yes, we might be safe this week or the next but that won't last more than a few months. This leadership is trigger happy when it comes to layoffs and I think we can all agree it was proven once again that there are no safe positions. Basically, enjoy feeling safe but know that more is coming and prepare accordingly.

Officer here again. You will address me as an officer of the corporation. Not officer troll. Read my lips. No new layoffs. Fake news. Fake media. Fake trolls here posting things that they do not understand.

Do not trust The Officer troll. Even Schwab management said in an email that there would be layoffs EVERY QUARTER for the next 1-2 yrs.
I don't trust riabiz. Mostly fake news there. I trust The Officer. We are all so glad to have The Officer with us, throwing us tid bits, and when we're lucky, real lucky, a nugget here and there. Keep up the good work Officer. We believe in you.
Based on the riabiz.com story, this integration is taking much longer than desired. So while they would ideally like to slash some roles at TD, it’s not that simple. But there is certainly an incentive from a PR perspective to complete as many as possible within the first year of the merger.
I used to work for TD Ameritrade Clearing. How were they affected by the layoffs last year and these new layoffs?
