I was in what remains of out break room and noticed the current info pop up on the table. It read we all need to look out for associates stealing mds and cash. Well I have two things to say. First, I am NOT throwing my co workers under the bus. Second hire back the LPs and DONT ask us to do their job . We are already doing too much for these corporate monsters.

Mentioned the other day that LP and Hr were the two most numerous posted job openings at B. Behind the requisite PT sales jobs.
How many stores still have LP?
Are they still prioritized at the money losing flagships while the cash cow C stores have to fend off the bad guyz and girlz on their own?
As for the HR openings?

I agree. Any associates that steals is a thief and should be treated as one. I do believe having associates told to report crimes on each other further deteriorates morel. We do not need East German stazi tactics. We need LP back to arrest bad associates. The corporate scum that now runs Belk is too cheap to bring back our LP.
Associate honesty is the priority for any company and reporting theft is not throwing coworkers under the bus. If you accept paychecks from your employer it’s ethical to be on the employer’s side and do your part protecting the business. If your coworker’s stealing, it’s not your coworker anymore, it’s a thief.
they fired two STM’s for stealing at my store. They were discounting items and switching price tags. Then about a month later they fired the store manager for unknown reasons.
