Some people are mentioning more layoffs that happened earlier this week but I haven't heard anything. Has anything happened since last week or was that it??

The lazy lunch crowd has always been a thing. Saw it from day one when I was hired. Lots of people standing in the hallways just shooting the breeze for well over an hour (I literally had to listen to them right outside my cubicle.) They talk about their kids, their pets, their weekend plans (when it's a Tuesday) and all of this is just ignored depending on the department. The people who are on the true customer front lines are expected to work and stay late just to get those lies communicated... tell them we're "working on it" when we have no idea or intention as to a ship date. Grand Rapids took over Sarasota business and had no plan. Top execs just took the cash and let the employees deal with angry customers and tons of confusion. I didn't see a single dime of a holiday bonus, unless you count a Krispy Kreme donut.
Yes, there were. Meanwhile customers are being billed thousands per week for "lunch meetings," and the executive suites have the latest and greatest coffee and espresso machines while many buildings are dilapidated and falling apart to the point of being a workplace hazard. Not to worry though shareholders, Americans are being laid off to make it appear this already sunken ship is still afloat.
Regarding L3’s reputation, I too learned of how badly they are viewed in the industry after leaving by choice. It was eye opening to say the least
I would not trust anything from L3. I've heard what their reputation is after I've left.
A den of pit vipers would be more concerned about a person.
I was told my position was eliminated today. 2/25/21
3 were let go in Hauppauge to go with the 24 let go the Friday before to total 27.
2 key people resigned and are moving to greener pastures.
That should be it for now.
Some people got laid off. Some got hired. Some quit to take new jobs. It is all part of the game.
