Severance agreements

Does anyone know what the severance package was for the recent lay-offs? Thank you.

I heard Centene is making it so if you get your severance you can’t collect unemployment

The last 2 layoffs in February and July 2020, everyone got 6 months. people who worked there 1 year or less and people who'd been with the company for over 10 year. This time, it's as noted above. I made 2 years in January and got 2 months

That is standard with six months max. The reason why it is better to get laid off versus quit during a pandemic since your next job could be at risk.

But I can understand those that quit. But I look at the layoff as a badge of honor. If you have a great company and a great boss and you are terminated that hurts. But if the company s—s and your boss s—s, this is actually an honor.

2 weeks paid for every 1 year of service. Max is 6 months of severance pay. Also COBRA subsidies for a certain amount of time.
