It is anonymous to some extent. Managers receive an aggregate data of the feedback from their team, but who individually provided what feedback is not shared. This is done so that they can take action from the feedback received.

If you and you're manager have worked together for some time, he's probably familiar with your writing style. So if you write comments in the free form fields, those can give them clues as to who wrote something, since managers might have some sense of who the disgruntled employee is versus who might be happy.

You seem to think people can jump from ops to a more tech role and based on my experience that's not a possible jump. The people in ops will need to do the mundane work as they want the paycheck and they will have to work as long as asked. Sure at some point the ops jobs will be reduced to tech enhancements but its not happening overnite. In my group management spoke about automation a d after 5 years they automated maybe 10 percent of the easy items and so not very impressive.

Upskilling can be done by anyone with python, sql, tableau, R, cybersecurity - the fact is there are many people at chase doing administrative, manual, rote, replaceable work and are being asked to do more and more of it. How can you have time to upskill when they are treating you like a robot doing stupid sh– 8-10 hours a day...riffs are blessings in disguise for those who are smart enough to learn new skills. You are correct a RIFF will only lead the dumb to be unemployable. But they are just waiting their turn to be replaced by a BOT or an office in poland, argentina, or india....get real...if your job is dumb enough and rote, you will be replaced by cheaper labor who dont speak english as a native language.

Riffs are over people market is in the rebound. Buy jpm stock and buy any stock for that matter as you will make a k–ling and thank me your boy pappy later. Dont listen to these fools calling for riffs and layoffs they are day old terds.

it is confidential - an ED went on a tear to figure out who wrote details against them since it was several people. IF there are follow ups its from HR never your group. this person was stripped of old role and eventually left as she was managed out.

But they do take commentary seriouly and have hired consultants to have focused interviews with a outside third party....never internal. Say the real sh– - i would personally love to be included in a RIF - this role is a dead end nd the team is dead end. A RIF NOW? its called severance, unemployment and enhanced federal payments...THIS is the time to get let go and upskill.

Yes its confidential. I know as I got to do it twice hahaha. Got to slam the authorities twice a d I am still at the joint. Your friend was a bone smoker and earned the layoff. Sometimes people aren't good at a job and earn a layoff it happens. Let us know how it turns out and what company he lands next. The layoff should motivate him for a good ten year and should earn atleast 1 promotion

Nope. If u put some kind of allegation ofor exame retaliation, discrimination or other trigger language...it will cause an internal investigation and likely an investigator will contact you for an interview. Most beleive they only aggregate the data by your immediate team which is not entirely true
