Legacy Meridian here in Chicago but started in Detroit (under the Cottons). I was recently laid off along with a lot of legacy meridian folks who were hired in with me back in 2016. For those meridian folks left after this round, try to have an exit strategy and leave before the summer. The IL side of Meridian will be fully integrated and put on Centene platforms by then MI will start to be put on Centene platforms. Don’t count on this being the end of layoffs in 2021. They are leaving the barest minimum Teams needed to continue duties and contractual obligations, but if I was legacy meridian or WellCare I’d seriously start planning an exit now
