Can my manager see my screen?

We’ve never been told that our manager can see our screen or that our keystrokes are being monitored, but recently my manager has made strange comments to me about my monitor use and my scrolling that makes me think they can see my screen. Can someone please verify?

It's obvious when the Mall Security (Director/Manager) mutes your line BUT you've already muted it. They are so STUPID because the system vocally says "muted" and I'm already muted awhile back. LMFAO

If you go to the control panel, click on devices you'll see that they use Citrix to mirror your screen. Directors and Managers should be fired! Their skill level is equivalent to Mall Security! LMFAO

We won’t get canned for doing our jobs as managers. Back to work folks, that’s what you were hired to do.

If you are not interacting with the public and you are not reviewing any PHI then for a manager to monitor your computer is called “targeting” and hopefully a 360 review will get them canned!

Yes they can! I’m a Manager and I get paid to to monitor or this. It’s not big brother, but rather a way to make sure you are doing the job I hired you for. There is nothing to worry about if you do the job folks

Absolutely! They use Dagent or use DOS to gain access. Just do your job and hopefully they will be laid off for not being a manager....hahaha Karma

They can see every keystroke you make. Every keystroke.

Anyone interacting with the public is heavily scrutinized. In addition to the software to monitor your activities, they have a tool that detects tension or conflict in voice tone during a call.

Interesting to read the previous comment.
I can tell you that if your team has a program set up on your system called DAA or back office...then yes, they are able to pull reports of all of their staff. It shows them minute by minute activities. It shows what documents you are working in. Who you are IMing with. How long you are idle. What websites you access.
You should be able to see this application in secure.

If you’re in a role where you speak to members is phone, they have call monitoring software that allows them to listen to your call and see your on screen movements.

Yes, they take screen shots to see if you are busy or not. They have lots of software to watch over everyone. Keystrokes, screen usage. Once Covid hit, they had to monitor all the work at home folks.

Of course, if you boss likes you it does not matter. If he does not like you, you are gone.

The manager is trying to scare you by making that comment. That is bad news for you. Better be prepared.

It is not the time you spend but what you do during the time. But often managers see working longer hours and always at the computer as productive.

The problem is i know there are folks that work 8 hours a day without any issue but others have to work late hours and weekends. It all depends on your boss and your department. Each boss and department is a separate company within the total company.

You have a bad boss if he said that to you. Better find a better boss now.
