Experiences after going back?

I am interested in the experiences of those who were called back, that is, those who agreed to return? What is the atmosphere like in the company now? Have you regretted coming back?

I had so much desire to be called back, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Then I spoke to another person who agreed to come back and said she immediately regretted doing so.

According to guest responses, Busch Williamsburg s—s. The January - February opens were terrible. Only half the park was open, it was to cold for major rides to operate and the majority of the shops were closed. Management decided to have a 4 or 5 hour session. The park would then close and reopen an hour later for another session.

Morale is bad. During my visit, I heard numerous employees grumbling about SEA management and the park overall looked in disorder and unkept.

Friends of mine started b!tching at me for the condition of the park, the less than adequate food portions and poor service. I was happy to say not my park...I don't work for them.

When I got called back at SWSD, it was like babysitting. Enforcing that mask policy to grown a– adults who should know better really drained me and gave me an incentive to leave when I could. It was chaotic when it was busy, especially in the restaurants.

At SWSD I know people who had to reapply for their jobs just to come back. And when they did it was nothing like it used to be. Morale is non existant. Every policy and procedure has changed and not for the better. The new employees have no idea about guest service and no incentive to help anyone. They hired people who would not question anything and be little robots. They used to hire the cream of the crop now it's the c-ap of the crop.

I have heard morale in the Orlando park is horrible. Too many things have changed and too much being put on those who do remain. Simple things that should probably not have changed during times like this, things like clocking out for lunch. The fact that they currently have 3 pages of job openings is also somewhat telling. Either business is much better that they expected, or people are still leaving on their own.

I am with you - glad I did not get called back.
