Be interested to know if anyone has seen many instances of people being laid off due to their positions being disestablished, only to find some time later that those positions have re-established themselves and have been filled by someone new.
I did hear too, don’t know how true it is, that some of those laid off between 2018 and 2020 were offered their former jobs back, the period I heard was 6 months later, to work as contractors for considerably lower rates of pay and less favourable benefits.
