Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Picking some talent

I just hired two great and highly talented individuals right out of US Bank into my practice. Their stories are almost identical. Strong background, solid track, then lured into USB with recruiting tactics, promised an amazing role and environment, and after the first year the disappointment begins: nature of work is odd, broken processes, outdated tech, no recognition, highly political environment, only the people who came from Target gets the spotlight ( w t f ? ) lots of confrontation, rework, no funding for training / certification, marginal increases, bonus limited due to stupid excuses and basically no runway for growth. These are two examples of top talent who are ignored by an intolerant and incapable management team. US Bank is rotten to the core, the well is poisoned. If you are still in there and feel under appreciated and underpaid, get out there and find a great alternative. Dump US Bank.

Managers are incompetent and morale is low. Any ideas for better companies to apply to?

To whoever posted @2eda+1a3SxLFL : I did. There are so many unhappy people with great skills that this it is less complex to hire here. Troll whoever you want, since you most likely are an intern from HR, but the stories are true. If you just pull your head outside your asterisk and ask around in Mortgage, in WM, in (lol) TOS, you would be awarenof what is going on. Btw - thank you for being a great pool of dissatisfied workers.

TOS is a dumpster fire. Managers have very little talent themselves and certainly don't have the ability to spot talent in others. They are super talented in attending and scheduling meetings that accomplish nothing.

I've been looking into getting out of the wealth management program here for a few years. What's honestly keeping me is the the lack of accountability here. The wealth management group here truly is a mindless job that actually does more harm that good to a branches p & l. However I know that this is not helping my career long term with no future growth. However this goes for banking everywhere.

Sounds like someone making up a story-what new company will come here and type this narrative up? Hint: no one except a troll

Same story happened to me. I was a star employee in almost every company I worked for, but was treated like a black sheep after I joined a TOS team.
