Severence is humiliating

Have they no shame? Offering such small packages to the people who have subordinated their private lives to this company and who have been loyal for years? Terrible and humiliating. I don’t even need to ask how satisfied you are with the severance pay, because I know the answer in advance. It’s a shame what this company is doing to people.

The hypocrisy of this is astounding. This is all just a cash grab for them. Reduced pay, fewer managers, fewer bonuses to pay out, fewer benefits to pay for all to add to a bottom line. The quality of work will go down because there will be less people to do more work. Meanwhile the people who do stay on and s— it up will be unhappy and less productive which will probably drive customers away. The bulk of their profits are on memberships. If members end of going elsewhere...bye bye profits. 👋

Yup they got us good this time. Sadly, so typical of the company. I really don't understand how it is even still in business with how it treats the employees/customers and I can't imagine these changes will result in anything positive short or long term. In my opinion the pandemic saved them and they know it so now they squeeze every last dollar they can til the fairy tale is over.

I had a no win choice between a 8$ pay cut or 6 week severance for my 25 years(last 5 no raise cause I was maxed out) I've never felt like a bigger loser
