I don't know when the last 49 Sears and Kmart full-line stores will be slated to close for good, but I would say that most of these stores opened between 1960-1990, so it's probably about 99.9% safe to say that the end is closer than the beginning for these last four dozen stores.

Brockton MA was announced for closing some time ago. The only New England store that isn't (so far) closing is Sears at South Shore Plaza in Braintree, MA.
