“Despite ExxonMobil’s negative cumulative total shareholder return (-12%) from 2017 to 2019, total CEO compensation at the Company rose almost 35% during this period.”

It was highly scripted and staged. Would not expect much else from EM, esp. now. He makes good business case for the path forward. That part was very well done. He addresses the 401K going forward. I infer there will be a reinstatement at some point (year or two?) and will be more competitive with US norms (I would guess 50 cents on the dollar). Meh, whatever. More of a typical US company going forward in some solid growing markets. Big money days for the masses appear to be winding down.

Everything he says comes from Public Affairs, HR, and Law. It is scripted. And yes, he is a narcissist and a sociopath.

You see a man working hard when his future / power is being threatened. I don’t see that sort of vigor when thinking for the employees.

All the more we should vote for Engine #1. I will.

Vote the Blue Proxy. Vote the Blue Proxy.
I think he said that 4 or 5 times.
If you got a few shares - or many - you know what to do now.

Darren Woods is a coward. He hid under his desk for six months last year before we heard a peep out of him. When a company goes from the top to the bottom it is a direct result of the CEO and his goons. They are the real NSI and all of them should have already been PIPed.

I can't understand why DW is even being tolerated by the board? He is an epitome of a FAILURE! He is a pathetic, useless employee, forget him being a CEO. How did he even win the hot seat considering he is an NSI level of an employee lacking respect, empathy, and care for his employees that bear the burden of keeping the company alive. b–tard!

Slight attempts while not being too obvious at morale building. He cannot promise there will not be future layoffs, and denies disguised layoffs in 2020. Furthermore DW has no remorse for having to let hardworking people go. He pushes them down further (kicking the dog while it’s down) by management using the phrase we will be better because of it and leaner. Actually things are not more lean. They are rehiring cheaper people. DW is telling you that no one cares about you in management ranks. Awful person he is. Also the town hall should be open forum at each campus after covid, and someone should ask concrete data for any DW thinks oil will recover and stay there.
