Some unverified murmurs that McKesson has some 'plans' for the European business - speculation that MCK is looking at a lot of divestitures (i.e. not the Germany WBA thing, nor the more recent UK news on their retail business) - anyone hear anything similar? Curious if something big might be in the works...

Retail Sweden with its 80 pharmacies never made any money since they started 10 years ago, so selling them off bears little strategic significance. The rumors about UK retail popped up once and its been radio silent since then. Overall strategy for McK Europe is unclear to say the least.
They just announced today that they've sold off the retail business in Sweden to some Private Equity firm. May be more to follow
