My colleague thought he had enough time, so he didn’t look for a job on time and then he was surprised when he got laid off. And I was surprised and disappointed because he was certainly one of the best. I no longer believe that the effort invested into this company is worth anything and that it makes sense when they start with RIFs, so I am actively job hunting. I’m just wondering if there will be some bigger cuts even before Q2 which is when I expect them?

Verizon has over 130,000 employees so you may or may not be impacted. I support retail and there will be more cuts this week. This company has been going downhill since wireline and wireless merged in 2014. Its too bad but all good things come to an end. Thank you Blowell McADUMBS.
