Management is now planning a large change this quarter!! They are going to see who fits in to their new company and the ones that don't unfortunately will be gone!! Another 400-500 planned with no warning!! This is the new Cenovus rotating layoffs for the new 2 years every quarter.... They are also planning on spinning off many non core areas Conventional is on the top of the list(deep basin)..

No one who would be aware of this would be posting here. All we’ve been told indicates the mass layoffs are done. Of course that depends if you believe Alex or not which is open for debate I suppose.
Ooooh a June layoff would be nice eh , really can take the summer off
So this is just the same old that we’ve all been going through since 2012. I couldn’t care any less than I do currently anyways. Do your worst I already can’t stand this place.
Total 6600 employees now approx combined company!! Expect 4600 by end of 2022!! Survival of the fittest!! Ongoing layoffs will be the norm!!

I don't know about any of that, but we were told that there were going to be layoffs in January, March and June, so one more round was planned already.
