Well said . Too many show boys and girls . Welcome to Gollywood . The less you know and do , the more you will progress . Only 2 qualifications required : Be good at backstabbing your work colleagues AND be a great pretender . Pretend to work, recycle other people’s work and you will make MD. Softies will be crushed and your career along with it .

The diversity and inclusion show man in my department is a middle aged highly incompetent white male. He has no understanding or contribution to our real business whatsoever. He comes to our business meetings wearing a fake smile from time to time. Never said a single word. This person has been floating from LOB to LoB for quite a while. What is the return on investment you asked? Muliply this by all the show boys, show girls, show whatever across the entire firm. What is the return on investment??

You can't blame Indians. The system essentially makes them underpaid indentured servants. They are super hard working...but they don't have much of a choice on it. They don't get time off, and they're under constant threat of deportation if they lose their jobs. AND, H1B folks are terribly underpaid. THIS is the reason companies hire and promote Indians. They can pay them less than domestic workers at the entry level. It's a wage arbitrage issue. Write your congresspersons.

I do agree that most Indians hire other indians though, and they have a culture of "indian uncles" to fast track resumes and hiring. Fairly regressive in their views on race as well, which is a huge hiring concern.

Majority cliques . Interesting twist .
Never thought of it like this but have seen examples of this . Groups of people looking out for one another causing bias and discrimination . Mistaken for racism , it is just a product of bias . A form of nepotism .

Correct . There is no D&I at JP Morgan.
Pretence is a fleeting fantasy of the naive .
They will exploit that naivety.

Majority Clique Definition :
Those whose class and race have full representation and influence across all LOBs.

Examples of Majority Cliques :

  1. Indian ( these individuals are not diverse as they form over 60-70% of JP Morgan staff and they work together to enforce discrimination to ensure their own kind get promoted and part of the problem )

2 American white

  1. English white

If you do not fall into any of these categories you will be mobbed out of JP Morgan .

The Indians are calling themselves diverse when they are part of the problem and enforcing racism by mobbing other groups of people .

Fire the Indians Jamie . They causing trouble and they can not speak English properly .
