Most VP’s make upwards of $250k USD, plus 50% MIP (annual bonus) and they also get other benefits such as share options and out of cycle bonuses on case by case basis.
Haha, it seems the people who donated less than $200 a paycheck didn't even make the list. You are asked to donate a certain percentage of your salary, but you don't have to. You can donate more or less. I got a nastygram from an ELT member asking me to increase my donation. I told them why I could not and they left me alone after that...until the big RIF last year.
If you can afford to pay $400+ a month essentially to keep your job, in the face of raise cuts and claw-backs, furloughs, and lower MIPs, you are making too much.
Why does the USA allow continuation of PACs? Specifically outlawed corporate and labor organizations from having excessive influence in the early 1900s and now we allow explicit method for complying with the law but avoiding the intent of the original law prohibiting corporations and labor organizations from donating to campaigns. Now our politicians spend majority of their time soliciting and collecting money from PACs to pay for their next election instead of governing as elected to do. Seems to me this is one root of evil in this country which limits governing for "the people".
Apologize for the rant.
As a manager, I was asked to donate 2% of my salary to HIPAC.
Interesting stuff. Mad Mike give 3X what Darius does, but I'll bet he never brings it up. The federal website has PDF's of where it is coming from and who it goes to (so why did HON give Gavin Newsom 10K last year - pay to play in LA-LA land?)
