Thread regarding Dunkin layoffs

First phase of reorg

What a sad picture. So many people in Canton were already let go quietly and now official on ounce to of many more whol will depart through the year.

A few promotions on Dunkin side cannot hide the fact that Canton team is getting destroyed. Our leadership already moved or in the process of moving to Georgia. But they are too scared to announce it publicly, so the rest of us do not drop and leave. Management will be holding our severance as a bargaining chip to make us help with the transition which they can take credit for all of our hard work. This constitutes a good base for a labor law class action case.

Apparently it is called “wave” and they fired only 40? Are these people delusional? Where this lowered numbers are coming from? How about low morale and pushing people out to leave on their own so they skip pay outs. We are down at least 150 people without announcing future separations

Is the list of who was announced on Friday (ie let go, moving to Atlanta, etc) everything? Meaning, someone posted in another thread that layoffs were happening quietly throughout the month and another posted a significantly higher number. Fridays announcement didn't seem to reflect the numbers (not that that's a bad thing). But after reading all the changes, my head was spinning. We've been picked apart and it's only the beginning.

On another note, does anyone think Sept (or whenever the second wave is) will be it? I hate to say it but it's hard to trust hearing your people are "safe". Safe for how long?

How can we find out who’s getting let go? I’ve seen a few announcements on LinkedIn of people accepting new positions. What teams are being disassembled? This is total and utter bu-----t. I cannot believe this how sneaky they’re being. Just cut the cord already!
