Working at Honeywell entails being underpaid when compared to our competitors, receiving low (if any) bonuses, getting no support from your team, always having too much work, and not being able to make any kind of progress in your career unless you turn into a company stooge. I think that about covers it.

There are NO golden jobs in the north end of Phoenix, if so, they are very well hidden. The southeast valley has the jobs comparable to HW up north.
Times and work assignments and projects have changed, the sad part is that we get to, or have to live through it.
It really isn't that bad, the communication of what is going on could use a massive overhaul.
There are no golden Jobs just waiting for ex HW people, some places see it as a negative because of the built in massive losses we have all been trained to work through.
The only thing that I will disagree with OP on is the underpaid part. When it comes to salary....Honeywell doesn't underpay. Its actually a bit of a golden handcuff. They pay you for your soul. You have to be willing to take a bit of a pay cut to get your soul and life back. Trust me...it's worth it
That was exactly my story for few short years. I got convinced that despite all my contributions, I won’t grow here, mainly due to incompetent managers and politics. However, I used the time to prepare, used HON tag and some relevant experience to find a leadership role in another company with significant pay raise and bonus. This is a great time to take the shot as lots of good opportunities are opening up.
