How many are getting laid off with new HR policies?

It is entertaining as he-l though.
Nothing happened. This is why it's pointless to take anything that anyone says here seriously. Everyone posting on this board is just guessing. No one here actually gets any kind of inside information. It's just gossip. Hopefully people realize that.
It would appear nothing happened.
So nothing happened?
Or in my case, admit the tea leaves were bogus and they were wrong and really need to take a vacation.
Probably no one. This forum is 99% just people taking wild guesses that almost never come true. Every week people are here claiming this is the week that Follett finally crashes and we're all getting fired. You can expect the same posts next week. And the week after that. And so on. Eventually a few people will be let go or a few stores will close (which always happens), and those same people will claim they were right all along!
Who’s getting canned tomorrow? Speak up!
Layoffs are usually happens on Thursday! That way the got work out of you for 4 days. Then they are so nice to pay you for Friday!
It's likely people overreacting. We had a call with three members of HR yesterday and all they did was explain who now handles what. It wasn't even about HR policies, it was about HR store support and what each of them does. I'm pretty sure everyone is freaking out over nothing.
To the OP: Details, as many as you feel comfortable sharing. When is this call taking place?
