it was great when we were Argus or DST we got stocks every 5 years of service and i cashed them out for big $$ right before the merger. What was awful is losing all my vacation benefits in the merger

Don't forget if you had 6 weeks annually and they laid you off, then you are owed what's "on the books" - now layoffs are 'flexible' - hence PTO carried on the books is minimal. Oh de joy of it all.

Get the F out if you can

You're right about losing 6 weeks of PTO. This "flexible time off" scam is an example of how little SS&C wants to retain people with lengthy service. They are actively discouraging old-timers to stick around. Way into 2nd quarter and we have no written guidelines about what happens if you exceed the 5 days sick time. The email from Bill Stone said "no cap" but rumors are flying that it will be 2 week limit, regardless of years of service. I was shocked that PTO could be taken away within the same year it had already been awarded.....but, nothing surprises me now with SS&C. I do appreciate them paying us to get up and take a dump every morning and I make sure I do it on the clock. lol.

I am looking for another job I’ve been with the company for almost 2 decades and they treat you like dirt . They give you a sh---y 1% raise and take away your six weeks vacation that you spent over a decade earning and expect you to be a top performer sorry but 1% or 2% raise year after year does not earn you a good employee that pay only pays youto get up and take a po-p in the morning lol

I think lots of people remained during Covid, but now that things are opening up again talented folks will walk away. There is no trust or leadership, just browbeating.
