Selling Weyburn was one of many stupid decisions of CVE. Carbon sequestration is key to survival. How many years do you think CVE will last? Yes a refinery was needed but Husky assets?? Stock price is not increasing. The markets know what a lousy company this is. Good luck to the workers. The market knows how lousy your management is. Assets don’t manage themselves. Hope there are still some technical skills there but I doubt it. I’m guessing the talent is now gone.

This always has been a company run by HR.
The lack of talent and high out of control attrition rate is the result.
Either way, HR wins every time. They fire, and now they have to hire people. Quite the gig
