Thread regarding Ford layoffs

EV’s will be more popular now that there is a gas shortage

When gas goes up to 4 dollars a gallon people will reconsider electric. But wait........ that electricity has to come from somewhere???? And it will be expensive because it comes mostly from burning fossil fuels. Gee such clean emissions unless you live near an energy plant!!!
How I miss the tweets!
But wait we wouldn’t have to declare an emergency if we did not shut down the pipeline. Oh but wait the Canadian who lives i Cali will solve the crisis.

IDK maybe the solution is to walk and/or bicycle to more places?

I tried only walking or bicycling to stores for a month and found I bought less stuff, lost a bit of weight and have a better mental state. The only downside was some joker stole my bike seat @Target. That was a fun ride home :-). I just put a quick release seat clamp and take my bike seat in the store with me now. All in all the walk/bike works well in good weather and I have plenty of fuel (body fat) to burn until winter arrives and I have to pay for petrol again.

If the Government really really cares about the invironment it would clean up all the superfund toxic landfills throughout the country. It also would stop accepting trash from Canada that goes into our landfills. Do I even need to mention PFA’s in the drinking water??? Get real, I trust the Mafia more than I trust political snakes.

There is not one green technology that doesn't require government funding or incentives to work. The steady escalation of gasoline costs is just a piece of the puzzle to drive unwilling customers to EV. If the environment was truly the objective, ICE would be the future. So sad that we are being treated like sheep on future vehicle offerings.

Except the woke neglect to research the manufacturing of the solar panels, which use more fossil fuels and destroy habitat and environment for quartz strip mining ( no the solar panels are not made from sand). LOL

The high gas prices will be a boon for Toyota, Honda and Hyundai. They produce fuel efficient sedans and small cross overs.

The woke plan to power their EVs with solar panels on their roofs and windmills in their backyards. That is the only path to The Green New Deal.
