Talking about the never-ending rounds of LRs is taboo. Our SVP keeps pushing us to do all we can to attract fresh talent: blog about anything, pretend life's amazing on LinkedIn, tell friends how awesome Cisco is, rave about our #1 place to work award at the next barbecue. Whenever someone has the courage to say attracting good folks to Cisco is a very difficult job due to the bad vibes we are getting because of continuous LRs, s/he is simply ignored. No response, no comment, nothing. Do SVPs and above walk blindfolded?

Cisco life is pretty comfortable until you get LR.
Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth. Woketard magic!
They don’t have superficial charm. They don’t have any charm.
To climb the ladder in Corporate America, you have to be a certifiable psychopath. Most employees at Cisco are completely unaware of the morally corrupt people that lead this company.
What makes a psychopath?
- Dishonesty
- Manipulative behavior, superficial charm, and narcism
- Lack of guilt, remorse, and empathy
Cisco was starting to feel like at white collar pyramid scheme by fiscal FY19. ;-)
