Since Marv & company took over the merit system is strictly a b-ho-e lickers game. The SM’s have a select few associates walking around with their vests covered. They look like the General of military command. Then they all rush to post their photo ops on Linkedin. It’s a complete joke.
So if you want to get recognized start kissing that behind! LOL

After 14 years I was just handed my fifth merit badge I make less than everyone in my department and was given a $.10 raise turned in my two week notice right after I got the merit badge goodbye Lowes
Im all for positive recognition and reinforcement but I agree the whole obsession with doing photo-ops and posting them on social media is just laziness by upper management. If they spent half the time properly staffing their stores as they do setting up all of these Linkedn selfies I think the work environment would be much better and retention rates would go up. Instead its just become a revolving door. Very sad.
