Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

lol, Kilar had NO idea this deal was in motion

"WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar, who was appointed to the role in April 2020, is negotiating his departure from the company following AT&T’s announcement that it would be merging WarnerMedia with Discovery, according to The New York Times. Kilar was “kept in the dark about the deal until recent days,” sources told The New York Times."

Another classy move by the Stankinator. I'm sure all the best and brightest are lining up to work for John.

I’m sure there is a change of control clause in his contract. He’ll walk away with $52 million or he’ll sue!!

What exactly was he getting paid $52 M for if he had no idea this was coming?

I wouldn't be so sure about him coming back, this is a real slap in the face & I just don't see a guy like him slinking back as a consultant.

He'll get a big chunk of money to go away and he'll take it to some "disruptive" startup or something like that.

Wow, John did Jason a good turn. I agree, Jason will likely return to T as a consultant.

Not only does he keep 52 million but he might get called back at some point to consult and make even more
