Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

more hierarchy

what does uis/cds really do? looks like a bunch of non-playing captions and baby sitters and very few worker-bees. i also heard that some senior technical guy boasts of being a technical author whilst he actually wrote a book about developing a toy calculator. my friend who works there said the work culture is toxic and the attrition levels are the highest in the company.

The UIS digital group is a mixed bag. A few really talented folks, a few good managers, a few total m*rons and more than a few sunflowers. One of the really great ones recently moved to one of the important BU’s.

@zdz+1aUFFJXD all STPs are failed management and useless to produce real technical work. All of them need to be fired

I take offense.
I happen to be a Senior Technical Professional (STP) and your depiction is very biased and approaches slander of my position and purpose.
I'm here. And I'm real.
