So as of Thursday, we all have to wear a mask at PNR unless we show them proof that you've gotten the COVID vaccine. That... OR wear a scarlet letter while everyone else walks around without a mask! This is pure discrimination and I know I'm not alone in thinking this is complete BS! It is truly a sad day at Pioneer.

Oh look everybody we're so safe by wearing non standardized diapers over our faces. What a safe space we have made this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
masks dont do nothin
Stay out of peoples lives, or stay at home, simple as is.
Some people get to stay at home it depends on who you are!!!
This thread and the kinds of responses…i don’t want to work here anymore, you all are terrible, inconsiderate people.
Pioneer must love to have you, @4dwb! Keep towing the line and you'll be an MC member in no time, unless you are already :-)
Don’t even know how to describe this thread….makes me really want to work at Pioneer. There are some disturbed, inconsiderate individuals in the office…
@4bxl+1aURWeL3 sounds like you would be better fit moving to China where you can permanently wear a face diaper and succumb to the co------t party who shall not be questioned, ever! What a terrible thing it is to question the government and have the freedom to choose your own health decisions. Especially for a dr-g that would typically take multiple decades to pass. Nope! Having a big fat massive government to make ALL of our decisions for us is much better. You're right, co---e.
Ran out of arguments and made it political. Almost as if your beliefs are just regurgitated and not based in any research you’ve done on your own
@4dwb I bet you also believe that the elections were stolen, and trump your legitimate President.
Are you all forgetting that children are not eligible for vaccines yet? A number of PXD families have at risk children at home. If the adults are vaccinated doesn’t mean that they can’t be a carrier. Overall, the vaccine is no different than a flu shot, you can still get the virus, you just won’t have it as bad. Not even mentioning the terrible Indian variant that is now in Houston and likely all over.
Wear a mask or don’t wear a mask, know the facts or don’t. Just respect others and their opinions and concerns. Nobody knows anything about this thing, even Fauci says that boosters are likely needed within 8 months or so. Big crowds are still not safe by any means, the Texan attitude on this whole thing is ridiculous.
gobacktobreitbart, there are many people that don't want to be part of this experimental treatment. Look at the percentage of healthcare workers that still haven't gotten the shot. As of last week, it was around 37%. Frontline responders still are even less likely at getting the shot. Both of these groups have been able to get the shot for the longest of any groups, but still choose not to. When the same people that can't figure out if or how many masks work telling the public the shot is completely safe, it makes people suspicious. When bill gates pushes so hard for people to get vaccinated people become skeptical.
The "vaccine" also has risks and no one, including pfizer moderna or the CDC, know what the long term effects of the shot will be. Everyone who has gotten the shot IS the research while people who choose not to are the control group. This should all make you ask why instead of posting that your fear is more important than other's right to make informed decisions.
If people like you had been around during WWII we'd all be speaking German now...
Yes, Pioneer needs to protect themselves from lunatics like you that think it's ok to get anywhere close to me without having taken precautions to be safe from a virus that has ki---d half a million Americans. OP, if I, or anyone in my family, get the virus because of you, I will send you the hospital bill. Wear your scarlet letter (in this case the A would stand for Asinine AntiVaxxer) and STFU.
This isn't unexpected looking at what's happened at pioneer over the last 12 months. Sadly this isn't about safety. This was proven back in the summer of 2020 when they forced management come in and volunteers were allowed back in. Now it's about eliminating pioneer's liability if something happens to an employee. They don't trust employees at home and this is the only way to force workers back to the office without pioneer being caught liable.
How does it reduce their liability? If you're vaccinated and something happens to you, then they say it on the vaccine makers which have no liability according to the government. If you choose not to get vaccinated and wear a mask, then it's on you because they will say that the employee had the chance to get the vaccine, but chose not to. Either way pioneer wins and you loose
Nobody is judging you. There are employees with at risk family members at home. So yes, get the vaccine or wear a mask.
So you don’t care about employees with “at-risk” family members at home?
Pioneer is so correct. Wear a mask or get vaccinated, nobody is judging you….
