Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Are there any improvements?

I left the company at the start of the pandemic because I was lucky enough to get a better offer. I guess the situation is awful, but I wonder if there has been any improvement now that the pandemic is subsiding? I’m in another state now, but I’d love to visit the store where I worked just to see how much it has changed.

This, "The new expectation since they raised just about everyone to $15 an hour is to do the work of 3 people and do about 16 hours worth of work in 8 or less."

been here 20 years plus. It has gotten worse each and every year, Sometimes daily. It is like a car that uses so much gas that you watch the gas gauge go down as you drive.

What do you expect when they hire people, sight unseen and they do not even conduct interviews. They don't do backgrounds or dr-g test anymore. It the club better? nope

Now they are also going through and trying to get rid of older partners. Doesn't matter if you out work 90% of most people. If you can't do one thing they want you gone.

Not at all. Less people but more work. And it’s not even just picking up the slack of the people who left. The new expectation since they raised just about everyone to $15 an hour is to do the work of 3 people and do about 16 hours worth of work in 8 or less.
