Does anyone know anything about this car seat remediation (corrective action) project?
Apparently, Allstate is just issuing money on something like 20,000 claims that were audited and found that the CA car seat compliance was not asked. Now, people are issuing interest on 2 and 3 year old claims, and payments of over a thousand dollars are going out the doors based on customers “word” and on comp claims that don’t involve vandalism or fire...

Self reported claims didn’t have the question built in re: car seat from my understanding and letters were sent to claims from a certain period asking people to call if it applies to them. Not all claims on the list have payment issued based off communication I’m hearing . Callers stating they have no kids, no car seats in the car, car seats had no damage. Calling because they’re wondering why they got the letter.

Doesn't surprise me at all. The piss poor training Allstate gives new employees causes these issues.
