I had to show my ID at the doctor's office then again to pick up my prescription. Why would anyone think you shouldn't have requirements to vote including ID??? The people who want to cheat and politicians who want to get votes by bribing voters with freebies

Why is no one talking about the fact that if AT&T (and other large entities) can throw all this money at politicians, why can’t they afford a higher tax rate?

Companies would rather throw millions at lobbyists, consultants, candidates, etc than back into the country.

Recall that Citizens United led fight to ensure the creation of super PACs which act as shadow political parties... Billionaires like Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson and others give multi millions....It’s always about the money, power, influence.

Being that AT&T is in businesses heavily regulated by the government, and these politicians put themselves out for sale, the business decision is to buy the service, and hope for a decent return on investment.

Look at the lobbyist business. About 75% of these politicians become lobbyists after leaving politics.

Public financing of elections is the way to avoid this.

This is just the company trying to play both sides - all this "woke" talk is complete bs designed to try to fool the younger generations into thinking T is some progressive company.

They'll keep pouring money on candidates who try to restrict voting for low income Americans because what's good for your average citizen isn't good for a company like T.

Please read the bill you are complaining against then read the voting laws in NY and Delaware....tell me who is restrictive???
